Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does the Process Take?
That completely depends on every dog and if he or she is ready to leave us. Only the dogs that are in a stable healthy condition and spayed or neutered can go to their new homes. Generally, we need every person or family that is interested to fill out an application form in order to consider them and plan ahead.
Is there an adoption fee?
Yes, our adoption fee is about 300 US-Dollars (500 US-Dollars if the dog needs to fly to the new home). This fee covers some expenses we've had for the dog and supports us in continuing our work.
What Is the Difference Between Adopting and Fostering?
Adopting means that the pet becomes a permanent member of a family; Fostering is providing a loving temporary home until we will find a furever home.
Will I need Additional Veterinarian Services?
All dogs come healthy, vaccinated and sterilized to their furever home. Naturally, we will write out and inform you if a pet has a chronic disease we know of. A follow-up in vaccinations and check-ups will be needed at some point, though. We also recommend the transplantation of a microchip.
Can I take A Pet Home Directly From the rescue station?
Finding the best possible home for the dogs is what we live for - so we don't do dropping visits where people can take a pet home on the same day. An adoption is a process where we want to get to know the future families. Only this way we can make sure our dogs live in a home that perfectly fits their needs.
