Anybody out There That Wants to Come and Join Us Here in Mexico for an Adventure?

We are constantly looking for people who love ALL animals, the outdoors, and are not afraid to get down and dirty.

Do you want to do something special and worthwhile? Are you an independent team player in your twenties or thirties? And do you think you can live happily together with many animals?

Due to the well being of the animals, longer stays (at least 2 or 3 months) of our volunteers are required.

Your Tasks

The volunteer position is to help out in two different locations on a rotating schedule:

  • At our “Hacienda las Ánimas” which is close to the river (2 – 3 people)
  • Our location “Casa Nopal” which is close to town and beach (4 -6 people)

In both locations we need help with the daily chores when it comes to the animals: Feeding, walking, clean up, socialise them, help to adopt out dogs, bring some to the beach and walk around town and get them familiarised with traffic, people, kids and so on.

We also need help with social media and updating our website with photos and info on the dogs. You might be answering inquiries about dogs and helping to fill out information sheets on the dogs leaving us.

This is a live-in position meaning you will need to help with regular house chores as keeping it clean. Room and board is provided and a token “salary” provided. You will not get rich in money but everyone we have had has said it was worth it and an experience for life.

Please

do not apply if you are more interested in living for free near the beach than in the dogs!
Unfortunately we have had several instances with helpers where it has not worked out and we have had to ask them to leave. Unnecessary inconsistency is very bad for our dogs.
We understand that it’s tempting when living in paradise but if you want a holiday choose a more suitable Place.
